Products
When the standard AXIOM product doesn't fit your mechanical envelope, interface, or integration requirements — we engineer a solution that does.
Delivery Models
The AXIOM strain-gauge flexure without housing or electronics. You integrate the raw bridge outputs into your own signal conditioning and enclosure. Ideal when you need to embed force-torque measurement directly into a custom mechanical assembly.
Sensing element with onboard signal conditioning and ADC — but without the standard AXIOM housing. You receive calibrated digital outputs (SPI, RS-485, or raw digital) from a compact PCB module that drops into your product.
An AXIOM or AXIOM-HS sensor with modifications to the standard product — custom mounting interfaces, altered dimensions, different cable exits, or application-specific calibration ranges.
A ground-up sensor design when no standard variant fits. We engineer the flexure geometry, electronics, housing, and calibration around your mechanical envelope, force range, and interface requirements.

Typical Applications
Surgical robots and rehabilitation systems that need miniaturized force sensing embedded directly in the instrument or joint, with biocompatibility and sterilization constraints.
Humanoid, quadruped, or industrial robots where the sensor must match a specific joint envelope and route cables or pneumatics through the measurement path.
Production-line quality stations and R&D test benches that need a sensor integrated into a fixture with non-standard mounting, cabling, or data output.
Applications with extended temperature ranges, vibration requirements, or custom qualification testing beyond standard industrial specifications.
Gripper, tool changer, and end-effector manufacturers who want to embed force-torque sensing into their product without adding an external sensor between flange and tool.
System integrators and robot manufacturers who need calibrated sensing under their own brand, with custom documentation and packaging.
Development Process
01
Share your mechanical envelope, force ranges, interface needs, and volume expectations. We assess feasibility and propose an approach.
02
We deliver a concept design with expected performance specifications and a project quotation. Typical turnaround: 1–2 weeks.
03
Functional prototype with calibration data for your validation testing. Typical turnaround: 4–8 weeks depending on complexity.
04
Transition to series production with incoming inspection, calibration certificates, and agreed delivery schedules.
Share your mechanical constraints, force requirements, and target volumes. We will assess feasibility and propose an approach.
